Help CenterAs a Rewards Host, you contribute towards the discounts offered to eligible Rewards members and Vitality Travel customers. Your contribution depends on your Rewards Host tier and the type of Rewards member booking your property.
The updated programme takes effect in February 2027. You can configure your Rewards Host tier for each eligible property now.
Your Rewards discount contribution
Your Rewards Host tier determines the discount you contribute for Rewards members:

Tier 1: You contribute 10% for Tier 1 guests.

Tier 2: You contribute 10% for Tier 1 guests and 15% for Tier 2 guests.

Tier 3: You contribute 10% for Tier 1 guests, 15% for Tier 2 guests, and 20% for Tier 3 guests.
Vitality Travel discounts work differently. Your contribution towards these discounts is capped at 10%, regardless of the total discount the customer receives. For more information, see our ‘What is Vitality Travel Discount?’ article.
How Rewards discounts work with specials
Rewards discounts are applied to the discounted rate of any existing special. If you're running a special (e.g. midweek, weekend or long-stay), your Rewards discount is calculated on the already-reduced special rate, not on your standard rate.
For example, if your normal nightly rate is R1 000 and you apply a 10% midweek special, the rate becomes R900. The Tier 1 Rewards discount is 10%. The system applies this discount to R900. The guest pays a final price of R810.
