How to Upload Your Verification Documents

As part of our activation process, all new hosts and properties must be verified before they can go live on LekkeSlaap. You can upload and manage your required KYC (Know Your Customer) verification documents directly from your Host Profile.

Follow the steps below to complete your host, property, and banking verification..

Step 1: Log in to your Host Profile

Log in to your Host Profile.
Click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top of the page.
Select 'Host Verification'.

Step 2: Verify Yourself as a Host

Start by setting up your host identity. Select the ownership structure that best describes you:

Individual
Partnership
Company / CC
Trust

Complete the required details and upload the identity and registration documents requested for your selected ownership structure.

Step 3: Verify Your Property

Once your host profile has been set up, you’ll need to verify your property.

Select whether the property is owned by the same entity as your host profile or by a different entity. For example, the property may belong to an owner you manage on behalf of, or to a separate trust or company.
Enter the required property details and upload the requested proof-of-ownership documents, such as title deeds, municipal bills, or management mandates.
Repeat these steps for each new property listed until your first 3 properties are successfully verified.

Step 4: Verify Your Banking Details

At the bottom of the verification page, enter your bank account details and upload an official bank confirmation letter issued within the last three months. This ensures that your banking details are verified and ready for payouts.

Tracking Your Verification Progress

You don’t need to complete the verification process in one sitting. Your progress is automatically saved, so you can exit and return to it at any time.

Once you’ve submitted your documents, our KYC team will review them. Each item in your Host Profile will show a status indicating your progress:

Unverified: You haven't uploaded any documentation yet.
Continue: Your verification has been started but is not yet complete.
Pending Verification: You submitted your documents, and we're reviewing them.
Verified: Your documents have been approved.
Failed: Your document was rejected. Click on the item to see the reason and upload a replacement document.

Please note

File formats: Documents must be uploaded in JPG, PNG, or PDF format.
File size: Each file may not exceed 10 MB.
Document quality: Make sure all documents are clear, legible, valid and unexpired. Scans and photos must show all four corners of the page, with no glare or cut-off text.
Information consistency: The details on your documents must match the information entered in your Host Profile.
